EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy
What is EMDR?
EMDR is a proven therapeutic approach that helps you process past trauma, anxiety, and stress, facilitating deep emotional healing. By using bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps rewire the brain, allowing you to shift negative patterns, release emotional blockages, and achieve a greater sense of peace and clarity. Many clients experience profound transformation, feeling lighter, more empowered, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges. Watch this short video for more information!
How it works!
-Have you been in therapy for a while but still feel like you're not making the lasting changes you want?
-Do you find yourself updating your therapist on the same patterns without seeing real progress? Weeks or even months pass, and you’re still feeling stuck.
EMDR intensives could be for you! See more information below.
-
EMDR Intensives are a focused, accelerated approach to healing. Instead of spreading therapy out over months or years, we work intensively for 5 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes, allowing us to dive deep into your healing process. This format helps you move through stuck patterns, process unresolved trauma, and create lasting change more efficiently.
No more waiting week after week—just real, tangible progress in a concentrated, powerful way.

If you’re needing more support, we can explore options. We can schedule another 5-session EMDR intensive and/or discuss incorporating other modalities, such as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, to deepen the work. Ultimately, we’ll talk about what else you’re needing to break through. The request for more support is very valid, and there may also be important information behind it that we can explore together. Let’s discuss!
-
Committing to at least five sessions allows us to build a strong therapeutic bond, which is essential for deep and effective healing. In our time together, we can conduct a thorough intake to understand your unique needs, develop personalized tools and strategies tailored specifically for you, and begin the process of reprocessing difficult memories in a safe and supportive way. While even a few sessions can be helpful, having multiple sessions ensures we can move beyond surface-level work and create lasting change. That being said, if you’re considering fewer than five sessions, I encourage you to set up a consultation with me so we can discuss your needs and determine the best way to support you. I want to remain flexible and ensure that our work together is as helpful as possible.

You may be eligible for out of network benefits, however, insurance companies typically only cover the standard 45-60 minute sessions. Please call your insurance company for more information!

Both virtual and in-person sessions are available, each with its benefits. I do have a slight preference for in-person sessions because we can really concentrate our time together, I can utilize EMDR tappers (EMDR tappers are small handheld devices that provide bilateral stimulation through gentle vibrations), and there’s something powerful about being in the therapeutic environment and sharing the same space. That being said, I also recognize that virtual sessions can be more convenient, and they still provide deep and meaningful work. It really depends on what works best for you!
